I went to see an orthopedic surgeon in Liaquat National. Dr. Zaki was the attending doctor there, after a long wait which is a given thing going to a hospital, I wasn't impressed at all with the good doctor's attitude. I have a Plantar Fasciitis, google heel pain and it is the first thing you see. so I knew that, the second thing was he ordered to lose 20 KG immediately. When I told him the cause of my weight problem was my Hypothyroid, the said NO!!!! Hypothyroid does not cause weight gain. OK, all the research, I don't know about other places, but in America aside, the smart Pakistani doctor is proven every study wrong or he is a cocky due who loves himself too much to admit he can be wrong. Anyhow, I was not a bit impressed with him. I have been going to Liaquat national for years now and this was the first time that came across such ignorant person, that too a doctor. His so called assistant the internee, was an idiot, he asked 4 time if I had twisted my ankle, which I had clearly explained to him the first time that I did not........... Maybe it's ok for him to be nasty and ignorant at his private practice, but this is a general hospital and he need to be kinder and maybe less cocky??? I am sure he is good at what he does, but I met Rufina Soomro the oncologist in the same hospital, she was an amazing person, apart from being an awesome and brilliant doctor. If humanity is what these angels of mercy don't have, then they are worst then the angel of death, who might have mercy from time to time.
