Dear sir, My daughter is 7 years old and she is surfing of low platelet count for last 5 years. I have done a lot of treatment for her but there is no improvement. Now the count is 13000 platelets it can not improve form it. the treatment which we use for her are the following. 1) use steroid for one year but did not work. 2) also use WIN-RHO injection but did not work. 3) also have done bone marrow examination but doctor said the this test is clear. and use a lot of other medicine but not working. please sir now what should i do for her. if there is any treatment to recover it. please suggest me the bone marrow result is that. SITE ; Rt. PIS. CELLULARITY : Cellular fragments diluted with blood. ERYTHROPOIESIS : Active and normoblastic. MEGAKARYOCTES : increased PLATLETS : reduced . LYMPHOPOIESIS ;: normal PLASMA CELLS : normal ABNORMAL CELLS : nil. HAEMOPHAGOCYTOSI : NIL. HEAMOPARAITES : NIL M/E RATIO : 3 :1 IRON : Absent. current Smear result is. Haemoglobin 9.9 g/dl Total RCB count 3.81 mill/cmm PCV 28.5% MCV 74.9 fl MCH 25.9 pg MCHC 34.7 g/dl Platlet count 13000 / cmm Total leucocytes 9500 /cmm Diff ; Leucocyte count Neutrophils 60% Lymphocytes 30% Eosinophils 02% Monocytes 08% RBC Morphology anisocytosis + Malarial parasite Nil yous sincerely, ABDULSATAR [email protected] Peshawar Pakistan
