Dr. Rasheed Jooma, my name is Malcolm and I am suffering from Lumbosacral Spine problem i.e. (L4-L5: Diffuse disc bulge causing thecal indentation with foraminal narrowing noted on either side and L5-S1: Diffuse broad base disc bulge causing thecal indentation with bilateral neural foraminal narrowing). I would like to know if this can be cured by medicine or do I need to undergo surgery for this.

I've never felt more safe in a doctors hands before a surgery.Dr. Rashid Jooma in Agha Khan university Hospital answered every question I had in words that I was able to understand. He talked to me like a friend, not like I was a patient. The amount of care that himself and his staff gave me was beyond what I could have thought.

My husband needed spinal surgery on the neck and being a nurse, i was very nervous but Dr. Rashid Juma took the time to explain the procedure, how long it would take, OR time and recovery time. I was amazed because the surgery time lasted as he told us. My husband was awake right away. I also expected 2 incisions on the neck but it was only one. My husband went home the next day. The whole staff of Aga Khan University Hospital treated me and my husband with out most consideration and respect.

This has to be the very best doctor I've ever seen in Pakistan. He was extremely personable. Words can't express how grateful I am to find such a doctor/surgeon dedicated to his patients. He's honest, had amazing integrity and truly a gem amongst his peers. I am so glad I found this amazing Doctor!
